Prairie Pathway: A Timeline

2024 : Expanding + Moving Forward

A year after moving into full-time private practice, Prairie Pathway expanded into the neighbouring southeast communities of Oxbow & Weyburn. The counselling team also grew with two additional part-time counsellors, Victoria Utman and Shauna Wock joining Prairie Pathway Services.

2023 : Rebrand + Moving Forward

The spring of 2023 was a time of transition as Trina worked toward a rebrand of her business and moving into a full-time office space. Prairie Pathway Services was born with a vision to have a one-stop wellness center that the community can access a variety of services.

2020 : Masters of Social Work

The fall of 2020 marked yet another milestone in Trina’s career where she went back to school and obtained her Master of Social Work through Wilfrid Laurier University.

2017 : Opened a Private Counselling Practice

Seeing a need for grief and loss counselling, Trina opened her private practice part-time, while she continued to work in the school division. She ran support groups as well as provided individual counselling.

2007 : Beginning Down This Path

Trina began her career as a Student Services School Counsellor with South East Cornerstone School Division, where she worked in numerous schools over her 16 years with the division.
